Bariatric Surgery Evaluations

If you are a candidate for bariatric surgery, it is likely that you will be recommended to undergo a pre-surgical psychological assessment as part of the bariatric surgery process. The pre-surgical assessment is an integral part of this process; as it is used to assess your understanding of risks and benefits of weight loss surgery as well as identify strengths and areas of needed support (adherence, psycho-education related to mood and behavior changes pertinent to successful post-surgery changes).
